Seminar "Education and training opportunities - methods to tackle depopulation in mountain areas" Torino, Italy, 24-25 November 2010
In the framework of PADIMA project, the seminar “Education and training opportunities – methods to tackle depopulation in mountain areas”, is being organised on 24th-25th November 2010 in Torino, Italy.
In a region, the education and training offer must be coherent with current and future needs of the local economy. Through our exchange of knowledge and experience, we will show good practices that support the development of entrepreneurship and innovative skills, qualified employment (targeted courses, universities), settling new comers, etc.
On this occasion, successful education and training initiatives selected from 7 partners in 5 European countries will be presented and discussed. A collection of some 33 good practices identified in the partner regions will be shared with conference participants. Furthermore, we will debate on the transferability to other mountain areas of these good practices selected. As you can see from the seminar agenda that we attach for your convenience, our presentations and debates will focus on potentials for transferring some successful initiatives from the sectors of health and care sector, integration of migrants, environment, biodiversity, forestry sector and life-long learning.
